We only have a couple more questions to ask our gym instructors in Los Angeles, so let’s get to those before wrapping up.

I have always found that the biggest obstacle on the path to losing weight and/or getting fit is sheer boredom. Working out at the gym can be such a drag. How does circuit training and interval training side-step this? Or is an iron will-power also a prerequisite for these forms of exercise?

Answer: “You’re absolutely right! Boredom is a problem that so many people experience at gym and - more than fatigue or a lack of time - is the primary reason Los Angeles residents skip working out. Plodding on the treadmill for 30 minutes and going through your workout routine can get really boring! And in many cases, you’ll find yourself cutting your workout short, because the thought of going home, slipping into a hot bath or settling in front of the TV with a glass of wine is just too tempting. In order to get the best possible workout, you need to challenge your body and you need to constantly switch it up. More than that though, you need to ENJOY your workout.

“This is why circuit training and interval training classes are so effective,” explain gym instructors in Los Angeles. “With a group personal trainer helping to guide you and keep you motivated, you won’t find yourself becoming bored. In fact, we find our members absolutely loving the classes! Additionally, you won’t find yourself reaching a plateau of physical fitness, because we will make sure that you are constantly challenging each and every muscle in your body. Every week, we change the circuit training routine and since you’re constantly alternating between one machine and the next, you simply won’t have the opportunity to become bored.”

How frequently does one need to come in for a circuit training class?

Answer: “That depends entirely on your fitness needs. As a baseline, we generally recommend that members come in at least three times per week for an hour-long class. This will help you to become fitter and healthier and to lose some excess weight, provided you compliment your circuit training with healthy low-fat eating. If you would like to get into peak physical condition and develop a beautiful, ripped body, we would like to see you four or more times per week. We run Circuit Training classes all the time, so all you need to do is book yourself in for a class!”

And there you have it! That’s what the leading authorities on circuit training and interval training have to say about the system of exercise turning flab into abs.
